Imagine your guests stepping into your front yard or onto your porch. A clump of spooky, glowing pumpkins wait for them, faces carved into ghoulish screams or toothy grins.

The body of a twisted scarecrow lies sprawled in front of the pumpkin patch, or hangs from a post in the lawn, or sits in an old chair.

Spider webs stream down from the scarecrow or branches of a tree. Spiders, snakes and insects crawl over the pumpkins. Sound like a good entrance for your halloween haunt? It worked last year at my Halloween party! So, here's how to haunt your yard and house! There's also lots of great tips from readers like you. Read them and then share your own!

[center] SPOOKYY WINDOWS

You will need a sheet or cloth, grey or white big enough to cover your window and drape the floor, an orange lightbulb/lamp and a fan. Tape or tack(w/ permission) the cloth to the top of the window frame INSIDE the house. Now take the bottom edges and pull the cloth back about ten inches from the wall..hold in place with shoes or canned food...this creates a space for the light that WON'T TOUCH THE FABRIC. Put the lamp on the floor or small box so it is under the window in front of the cloth putting a spooky glow onto the fabric, then put the fan on low and point it so it blows on the cloth. From outside this looks like there are flames dancing in the window!!! (you can only see this at night!!)
